Which Texas Tech calendar has your deadlines and final exams?
Use the calendar for your program, then check the separate final exam schedule for your class. Texas Tech’s main-campus Fall 2026 finals are December 4, 7, 8 and 9.

Pick the calendar for your program
The Official Publications index separates the main Texas Tech calendar, Online+ eight-week terms, the School of Law and the School of Veterinary Medicine. Use the detailed calendar for deadlines and the one-page view for planning.
The calendar page says downloaded Outlook and iCal files may lag updates. Reopen the live calendar when you need a current deadline.
Match your class or common exam to the schedule
For a regular class, use the table organized by class meeting time. For a course with a common exam, look up the course in the common exam table. Fall 2026 standard exam blocks are two hours and common blocks are two and a half hours.
Confirm the time, format and room with your instructor. If a common exam overlaps a regular final, the approved common-exam department is responsible for making arrangements. Raise the conflict before committing to travel.
Separate tentative dates from booked plans
The main-campus detailed calendar lists May 6–11 as the tentative Spring 2027 exam period. Check your actual exam time once the official table for that term is posted. Use the spring registration guide for time tickets and adding or dropping courses.
