Where can a Texas Tech student take a lease question?

Registered TTU students who pay the Student Service Fee can request an appointment with Student Legal Services. Use the office’s lease review or landlord–tenant consultation when you have a specific question about your documents.

Choose the service that handles your question

The Off-Campus Housing office maintains housing resources. It directs students with a lease to Student Legal Services for review. The legal office may consult or provide limited representation depending on the matter.

Bring the agreement and a short timeline

For a review, bring the full lease, any addenda and the deadline for accepting it. For a dispute, organize dated notices, payments and communications so the attorney can see what happened. Bring your specific question about the agreement or the next deadline.

Attorney consultations require an appointment. The legal office lists appointments generally Monday through Thursday. Use the sign-in link to request a time, and keep documents in the university’s intake process.
