How to get or replace a Texas Tech RaiderCard

For an in-person student RaiderCard, register for classes in the current term, put an acceptable photo on file, and bring an original government photo ID to the University ID Office. Online students have a separate request process.

Put a photo on file

Check your existing photo or upload a new one in MyRaiderCard. University ID’s photo guide calls for a color JPG, 300 by 300 pixels, no larger than 50 KB, with a plain light background and your face centered. Watch your TTU email in case University ID asks for a new photo.

Pick up your card or request delivery

In-person students pick up their RaiderCard in Student Union Building room 105. Bring your original driver’s license, state-issued ID, military ID or passport. Online students should use the Online ID Request Form linked by University ID and submit an acceptable photo for a mailed card.

Report a lost card before replacing it

If your RaiderCard is missing, report it in MyRaiderCard and check University ID’s instructions for replacement. Once you receive a replacement, the old card is deactivated, even if you find it again. Keep your current card between semesters. TTU says it stays valid while you’re enrolled.
