How do Texas Tech students claim football seats?
For the 2026 season, reserve through Red Raider Loyalty in the Texas Tech Athletics app. If selected, claim the event in the app, then take your valid Tech ID to the student gate.

Reserve, then check whether you were selected
Choose the Student fan type and sign in through Texas Tech in the app. For a home football week, Athletics published a Sunday reservation window from 7 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. in Lubbock. Check that week’s event for the active window.
Selection depends on Loyalty points. Athletics’ season launch instructions give selected students until Monday at 5 p.m. to claim. After the claim deadline, unclaimed spaces can go to the waitlist.
Use your claim or join standby
Check the Claims tab before leaving and arrive at least 15 minutes before kickoff to use a claim. Scan your valid Tech ID at the student entrance. Students without a claim can join standby for available seats.
Check the release option if plans change. The Loyalty guide allows students to drop events up to 24 hours before a game and lists point deductions for some no-shows.
Check the bag and re-entry rules
For a clear tote, Athletics lists a maximum of 12 by 6 by 12 inches. The policy lists the allowed small clutch and medical exceptions separately. Plan to stay inside the stadium after entry because Athletics requires a new ticket for re-entry.
